A real autumn weekend coming!

I know some of you are disappointed we aren’t open every day; even Friday, Saturday, Sunday is hard on this old lady.

Business has been great and I have wonderful help from Jane Wright, Derrick Vanderweide, Beth Willett, Chase, Brooke and others.

We have numerous very nice pumpkins for you to pick from, in the field and around the barn. We’re still picking on other farms, a great pumpkin year. The mums are bright and brilliant, plus Montack Daisies. And a big variety of  flavors of Grandma Ding’s Fudge, too.

Looks like a real autumn weekend ahead. Hope to see you Friday, Saturday or Sunday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

A Wonderful Crop This Year!

Oh yes, we are out at Pumpkins Etc.!

We had a great opening weekend last week, even with the rain and the big Chiefs game! It’s so nice to see old friends and make new ones.

Customers are missing Bill. I am too.

Jane and family have been busy picking from the fields. We have a super crop this year. We also have sweet corn, watermelon, tomatoes, squash and potatoes.

Hope you’ll come visit us. We will be open again this weekend: Friday, Saturday and Sunday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Nearly Perfect!

These days at Pumpkins Etc. have been nearly perfect! Bright blue skies, cool breezes, warm sun.

It seems like kids never tire of climbing on hay bales and running through the maze. There’s the fun of tromping out in the pumpkin field, or just searching and searching for the perfect pumpkin. We have all sizes and colors, and plenty to choose from.

Lots of families couldn’t resist taking photos all around, turning these playful moments into memories. Kids loved playing with the kittens in the barn, or just holding them to feel them purr.

And we have local foods, and of course, Grandma Ding’s fudge. Yum!

We’re open Tuesday through Sunday. Hope you’ll come visit us soon!

Harvest Season!

Hello friends,

We are happy to report that the barn is open and in full swing! Hope you will come visit us 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday.  We are closed on Monday.

We have pumpkins, gourds, squash, mums and all the other delights of the season. It’s always fun for kids to select their pumpkins, climb on hay bales, wander the barn. And, of course, we have fudge!

Hope you’ll come visit us soon! And thank you for all your support for Bill during his recovery. We appreciate it.

See you soon!

We’ll Open in the Fall

pumpkins outdoorHello Friends,

This summer has found us in a time of recovery. Bill had major heart surgery and the process of healing is slow and steady.

We are planning to open after the pumpkin harvest, as usual.

We will have our regular assortment of pumpkins, gourds, squash, bittersweet, mums and natural fall decorations. And Grandma Ding’s Fudge, of course!

We haven’t set an opening date yet. Please follow us on Facebook to stay in touch.

See you in the autumn!
